Multiple Forces of PLA Eastern Theater Command Conduct Joint Exercises around Taiwan Island

東部戰(zhàn)區(qū)新聞發(fā)言人施毅陸軍大校表示，4月1日開(kāi)始，中國(guó)人民解放軍東部戰(zhàn)區(qū)組織陸軍、海軍、空軍、火箭軍等兵力，位臺(tái)島周邊組織艦機(jī)多向抵近臺(tái)島，重點(diǎn)演練海空戰(zhàn)備警巡、奪取綜合制權(quán)、對(duì)海對(duì)陸打擊、要域要道封控等科目，檢驗(yàn)戰(zhàn)區(qū)部隊(duì)聯(lián)合作戰(zhàn)實(shí)戰(zhàn)能力。這是對(duì)“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂勢(shì)力的嚴(yán)重警告和有力遏制，是捍衛(wèi)國(guó)家主權(quán)、維護(hù)國(guó)家統(tǒng)一的正當(dāng)必要行動(dòng)。

Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson of the Eastern Theater Command, says that on April 1, the PLA Eastern Theater Command starts to conduct joint exercises, organizing its army, navy, air and rocket forces to close in on the Taiwan Island from multiple directions. These drills mainly focus on sea-air combat-readiness patrols, joint seizure of comprehensive superiority, assault on maritime and ground targets, and blockade on key areas and sea lanes so as to test joint operations capabilities of its troops. It is a stern warning and forceful deterrance against “Taiwan Independence” separatist forces, and it is a legitimate and necessary action to safeguard China’s sovereignty and national unity.
